    Hi,

One of the computers on my home network has lost the ability to connect to the internet, even though the icon in the system tray says connected....

All 3 computers are connected to a Linksis Wireless-G ADSL Gateway (Model wag54gs version 1.1) (FYI all computers are connected via ethernet cables and not using the wireless function)

The computer in question has been working fine for months and has recently stopped allowing me to browse the internet or send/receive emails...

I have performed system diagonistics which shows the results as follows:

From my very limited knowledge it would appear that the NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller has failed - so I have re-installed the supplied drivers for this adapter, and the system diagonstic still shows this device as 'failed'

The system information for this PC is below:

Just thought I'd let anyone interested know...

Thought it would be worth a try putting another network card into the machine, and problems solved... must be a faulty card!

Hope this helps anyone who finds themselves in a similar position!

    Cheers!!!
