I have my router and modem in an office type area in my house. Im needing internet in the game room. I bought a e2500 router to replace my old linksys wrt54gs but the new one actually sucks compared to it. (net flix freezes up alot). What I want to do is leave my old router in the office and use a net gear product that plugs in to the wall and uses the wiring in the house to put internet other places (I already own this and was using it for my ps3). Hook up the new router in the game room with the other end of the net gear equipment and hook up my ps3, smart tv hub and other stuff. Is this possible or is there an easier way using the equipment I have?

Turn off dhcp on the new router, assign a static IP to it, then hook it up with a cat-5e from the LAN port, so that it hooks to a LAN port on the other router. As for Netflix freezing, could be also as to how much you are using your network, the connection to the ISP, and the speed that you are getting from the ISP, along with what is the device you are using.

I think you should go ahead and use the Wall socket mount equipment you have,

just remember as the previous post said, to set up your games room router so it has a static IP and turn off DHCP so all IP address's come from the Office router
    or "default gateway"
