 I have two computers, two monitors, they are hooked with a cross-over cable, my problem is how do I get them to share printer and files? And perhaps the dila-up connection too? I have tried setting up the home network, but it doesnt work. What am I doing wrong? The one pc runs on win Me and the other Win xp. Thanks in advance. :)

You have to do ICS in order to share through your existing setup with the XP being the ICS server.

Easy way is to get a Router and go that route.

Log to this page it has a lot of links to instructions to Windows Network Settings, and Sharing.

    Link to: [L=Windows Network - Installing & Sharing.]http://www.ezlan.net/Installing.html[/L]

Dialup the options are: Sharing the Internet with DialUp Connection.

another way u can go is runing the network wizzard on the xp comp and at the end it will ask you if u want to make a network floppy, create that floppy go to ur Me comp and run the netwrok floppy u created there or if u have the winxp cd put it on ur ME comp and go to search for the setupo network tab

    hope this works
