I have a router about 100 feet from my ps2. Instead of running a 100+ foot cable, can I use access points to connect my ps2 to the internet (for online gaming)? If so, will I need to buy two different access points (one for the router and one in my room for the ps2)? Thanks for your help, it is very much appreciated.

To be honest, I'd go with the cable. I have a good wireless router installed at my home, and even though i'm not very far away from it, it occasionally cuts out on me for a couple of seconds. This is AMAZINGLY annoying when in the middle of a game, and you get disconnected from a server. A long length of cable is a pain to install, but is 100% reliable..
