This is probably a very easy one to you techs but I don't know how to do this.
I have a Packard Bell laptop I want to hook up with my Samsung Laptop.
    Both run Windows 7.
I want to see what is on Samsung through the screen of Packard Bell and to scan Samsung using my anti virus stored on Packed Bell.
I also plan to store whatever is on Packard Bell onto Samsung so both pc's mirror each other.

    I have a 10/100 Belkin Network Switch.
I believe this is a good start.
I also have ethernet ports on both computers and have a 4 port ethernet broadband router.

What are the techniques I need to use please?

You should be able to connect both computers to the router, open up file sharing on the computers, then see what is there that way.

Or you could remove the drive from the Samsung and install it into an enclosure attached to the PB. Then scan it from there and see what is on the drive. This would be the option I would use if you suspect the drive might be infected.
