So, I did not see a networking section. I am planning on replacing the Cat 5 wire from the main house to my shop with some Cat 6. About a 90' run, mostly through 1" PVC pipe buried underground. Going to dig up both ends, remove all the angled stuff, do a run through the main pipe, then run through any angled stuff. Should be easy.

So, besides copious use of electrical tape and or duct tape, what to use to tie the new Cat 6 to the old Cat 5 before I pull it? I am thinking about 4 or so inches of wound electric tape and at least 6" of Gorilla Duct tape over that. Any suggestions?

Duct tape worked great. All up on Cat6 now.
