I was wondering if in your wisdom you could Help me, I have 2 comp wireless
connected to my BTHomeHub router and my printer Canon Pixma mp500 . I wish
to set a network up so I can use the printer with my second comp.
Using My XP disk and switching everything on I followed the instruction put
ting XP in the first machine then the second one but can print with main on
    e but not the second.
Info for the Printer is on both machine
I think that the comp are not connected as when I go to my network place on

I realize you already have your home network set up but from reading your post it doesn't appear to be functioning properly. When this happens I always advise to start from the beginning. maybe we can see where it went wrong. I've included a link for you to follow to set up your network. This should link the 2 computers together. Then follow the instructions that ibmest gave you and that should link the printers. If not post back and we will try to think of something else

I have followed the instructions but 7 and 9 did not come up and I can not see the other comp coming up on other comp !
On secondary comp have comodo firewall could that be stopping it

Comodo shouldn't affect it but try to disable and see if you can see the second computer.
When I mentioned to start from the beginning did you also do the same for the other computers ?

if you can get internet on both computers, i would start by checking your firewall as that will block things like printer sharing and file sharing. Assuming your internet works on both machines, your network it self is setup fine. Start with the firewall :)

As long as you have run the network wizard on all computer and then click allowed printer sharing you should be able to see all the files and printers on the computers. If you cannot not and suspect a firewall it would be teh firewall on your router. Im just assuming its not a network printer ( one that plugs into the router) but your running it through another computer.

Epsonone, did you ever get the computers to see each other on you network? If not go through the steps to network you computers first. make sure they can see each other. If not lets address that issue before trying to get the printer on line.

Right what kind of printer is it? Are you plugging it into another computer, or straight into your router?

i'm not clear or maybe i'm a little confused. did you say everything is wireless, does that include your printer. The specs on the printer says that it is blue tooth compatible, but not wireless

I still think it has somethin to do with the computers not networked. I know sometime ago I suggested you start from the beginning. and you mentioned that 7 and 9 would not complete, did it do this on both computers?
