While getting ready to upgrade to Windows 7, I figured what the heck and installed Apple's Safari Browser. I am amazed by it. First the fact that it works beautifully on a PC and next by the speed and quality of the pages it displays. No, I'll never dump the PC and become an Apple man but as far as Safari 4.0 is concerned, Apple has a winner here.

Thanks, Tonyw! I have not looked at Safari for quite some time, and maybe it is worth another look - I was not a fan the last time I looked. Your post is a valid reminder that we need to re-visit things from time to time, and see what progress is being made by the software authors! ;)

I have become a fan of the latest release of Chrome, as far as streamlined browsers go. I did not like that one either, when it was first released!

    Have a great weekend!

Guess I'll follow your lead. I didn't like Chrome first time I tried it. In spite of whay some peeps say, some products do indeed improve. Maybe we can trade notes and compare Safari and Chrome. Thanks for the answer.

This appears to be a very nice piece of software.
