Hi, everyone I've just set up my notebook. Have had no probs until today. I've only just uploaded the latest MS updates for XP SP2 on my new Dell Vostro 1500 purchased in November. And, as I've only just connected to our satellite broadband & after making sure that I'd updated everything, as I'm paranoid about being up to date!, & having scanned with AVG, SpyBot, Spywareblaster, Adaware & HiJackThis all seems clean...BUT...my Firefox browser (only use IE for updates etc) refuses to use my homepage...it seems to have been taken over by...http://www.http.com//:www.mywestnet.com.au My homepage is supposed to be....http.com//:www.mywestnet.com.au ....& it's there as such in the 'Options' , 'Main', homepage. I've done a scan with HijackThis...how can I post it? So that someone can check it for me? But, if I post that result, does that enable someone to compromise my PC? I've been through '98 & local dial-up, to 2000 SP4, XP Home (SP1) on my husband's PC & now XP SP2 + latest downloads yesterday on this notebook. Would appreciate any help Thanks!
