New 3500+ Venice

    Got a new processor and its amazing. Only thing is I was looking at pc probe and I read that the processors maximum speed is 3.7ghz. Whats all that about?
    The speed of the processor is 2.2ghz and for me it runs superbly. Just Im curious to why it says the max speed is 3.7ghz?? Anyone know what its on about?

    CPU is just not recognized properly. Update software or try another like Everest. Does not change max from 2200 though, unless you overclock. I have mine at 2700 with in-a-box cooler. Quite a few mhz should be available for free - find your own "max" ;)

    I'm not sure if it would effect the software, but a bios update may be in order for the new core--if you haven't done so already.
