Latest update will not work with 800 x 600 screen resolution according to dialog box that appears when the set-up file is run. Wonder why this is? I rolled back to previous 4.2 version as I seldom use other resolutions.

Hmm Odd bug i say.I would recommend on using some thing else that does not have that kinda issue.

    Smart Defrag from Iobit.

I'm receptive to IObit but last time I used the program, upon installing it most all my start-up processes were removed and it was rather tedious to restore them. Ctfmon.exe and several of my Intel graphics start-ups. Anyone experienced that? What I installed today was the latest Auslogics Disk Defrag posted here. I did change the screen resolution to accommodate the install but upon returning to 800 x 600 the ap said the program works only on 1024 x 768 or thereabouts.

Thanks for the help. Apparently I was trying to install the shareware pro version posted for the 13th, causing that dialog to pop up. Sorry bout the inconvenience.

I have not experienced any thing like that from Iobit i do regular testing for them.I even test beta versions and never come crossed some thing like that.

Still buggy. The new 4.3 free version still blocks installation and use with 800 x 600 with dialog that screen resolution must be at least 1024 X 720. Running XP. No previous version of Auslogics has ever done this.

I would recommend on going threw out the system and removing all files and folders and registry. Then do a fresh install.

Don't forget to check your %appdata% folder.
