I was wondering if someone can help me.

My laptop is in need of a new battery. The original battery is 10.8 volts. We purchased a replacement battery online which happens to be 11.1 volts. Is this a problem?

    Greetings, Avrohomd.

It would be my guess that the 300mv difference is negligible, especially if the replacement battery's connection layout and physical footprint are the same.

Virtually all battery-driven devices have a range of acceptable voltages, and I would imagine that the 11.1 volts falls within your machine's parameters. To be certain, what's the make and model # of your laptop?
