New bie is hijacked WITH ABOUT: BLANK SPYWARE

I used Ad-dware tool to remove sypware, but when i run this application it removes the spyware and says no critical object is present and system status is ok,

but problem is here that whenever i again connect to net and then run Ad-dware it again show me some more spyware.


How to fully eliminate spyware from my win98 system

Any help will be highly appreciated !!!

If i were lacking somewhere in posting in correct manner or something else is lacking in my post plz. let me know i will try to provide and do that. Since I AM NEW BIE TO spyware!

i wud suggest u to enable personal firewall.

And u can download solo antivirus trial version.

also download "Spyware Doctor" and this software comes with a option of immunizing ur pc against spyware.u can have it at

Moreover u can have good spyware removal softwares at download.com. Have a look there

 

I don't want to offend you , but have you even looked at what Major Geeks is?

Please don't send people to Download.com of all places when we have a gigantic file repository ourselves.

I used the link provided by u.

And then the main problem is partially solve. that now my browser is not hijacked.

But, my system keep rebooting automatically (no specific, it is rebooted anytime)

Now, also when I run Ad-Aware , spyware blaster programs then also it shows me some critical objects.

And when use internet explorer , my system goes hangs. And now I am using Mozilla Firefox.

your log looks clean. I would suggest using FireFox as your new browser regardless. But the problem should still be fixed.

Since I don't believe the locking issue and reboot issue are related to spyware, I would suggest starting a new thread in the software forum for these problems.

 

Also,
You're using IE5.0.. UPDATE TO 6! and get all the patches!

I already told u that i am now using firefox.

I don't understood about which locking issue u are talking, I had not discussed anything about it.

Now, as far as rebooting issue is solved , just a wire problem.

But whenever I run Ad-Aware or spware blaster or anyother antispyware, i see some critical objects found every time.
You can have a look on them as I attache a file.

I was simply suggesting that regardless of issues with IE, you should continue to use FireFox.

I don't see anything wrong in your log. What critical objects do the programs find. your latest post did not have any attachments.

 

I was just editing my post becz. attachment size is too large I was unable to attached. In the meanwhile u posted the reply.

Ignore the DSO exploit, it is a bug in Spybot that I believe is fixed in the newest version (recent).

are the other items found cookies? they look like cookies are mostly harmless.

MRUlist is a list of most recently used (accessed) items/links/files etc. It's a bit overkill on spybot's part to commit them as critical objects. If you cleared your document history,that should go away.

I would ignore that as well.
