New Build Need Help with sata hard drive

Hard drive not detected in bios


This is a new build using some old parts
New Motherboard Asus P5Q3 Deluxe
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83
PSU Corsair 650W
Western Digital 500GB SATA Harddrive
Radeon HD 3870 Video Card
Crucial 8GB DDR3
Old Sound Card Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum
Old Dvd/Cd Rewritable drive Sony Dru-500AX
Old Dvd Rom Drive Sony
Old Case

I Cannot get sata hard drive to reqcoz in bios
Get error message hard drive not detected.
Old dvd drives connected to ide will not
Work. I went into the bios made sure
Marvell Controller is enabled. Can You help me

Hi, make sure the jumper setting on the hard drive is set correctly to master and your ide drives are set correctly to master or slave.
