Hello, my friend just bought the Olympus SP-510 digicam, and is having trouble installing the software that came with it because of a "Sams Club Digital Photo Center" that was apparently already set up on the computer. Her parents have an older Olympus camera, and they use the Sams Club software for prints, etc.

Whenever you put the CD in for the new camera, it starts to load the setup but then the Sams Club software loads up and prompts to install. Even if we try to continue with that, it asks for a disk that we don't have. And either way, it stops the installation of the NEW software.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

There should be an option on the New CD to only install the drivers for the new camera.

When the CD opens check for an option to Browse the CD. This should give you a menu of what is on the CD. Pick the option for the new camera only.

You could also uninstall the old software first but if the parents still use it you might want to ask them first.
