I am in dire need of a new case, because the one I have now is a $25.00 El Cheapo that I attempted to mod myself. Trust me, I am NOT a case modder!! Anyhow, here's the case I was considering http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811129154Now this case is somewhat different in the fact that the PSU is on the bottom. Here's an animated demo of how it's supposed to work http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=81800 Just click on the animated button on the right. Do you think this case would be a GOOD thermal solution? Or rather just a fancy, do nothing one? I know Antec's are good cases, but this one, like I said, has some strange placement options. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!

Interesting, looks like a good case I like the overall look and antec make some good cases,I think it should keep everything cool pretty well, looks like working inside may get a little tricky but its hard to tell best bet is to get some reviews :)

Thanks for the reply. The only reviews I could find on this particular case are the ones that were posted on Newegg. Let's face it, they aren't too technical in relation to how well it cools. Still, isolating the PSU like that would appear to have some advantages when it comes to keeping things cool, especially with a 120mm fan blowing directly on it.

Rikky, just in case you're curious, I found a review for this case and thought you may want to read it. http://www.amdzone.com/modules.php?...s&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=210&page=1 The only thing that concerns me is the fact that they specify a certain Antec PSU to go with this case. I just purchased an Antec 430 Smart Power PSU a few weeks ago and don't feel like parting with another $100 for a new one. I e-mailed Antec to see if this one would work with this case and, hopefully, they'll reply soon.

I have that case, and I have a Seasonic s12 in it, which is known for having short power cords. Unless your MB has the power inputs at the very top of the board, you shouldn't have any trouble reaching them.

For more reviews, check out these two from Silent PC Review:

    and this one from Anandtech:
    http://www.anandtech.com/casecooling/showdoc.aspx?i=2525&p=19

That should be more information than you will ever need - especially the second article from SPCR.

I would recommend not using the VGA Duct and sealing its intake with some duct tape. I'd also recommend getting an after market VGA cooler that exhausts air out the back of the case.

    I hope this helps!

Thanks for the reviews Zoatebix, I appreicate it alot. My motherboard is a GA-7N400 Pro2 and the power plug is about 3\4 up on the right hand side of the board, almost right beside the RAM slots. The other power plug is right above the CPU. So, hopefully, it'll work. I guess I'll find out soon enough, because reading those other reviews that you gave me the links for well.....let's just say that those made up my mind. Newegg has them for $124.99, but there is a $25.00 mail-in rebate, which is worth it. CompUSA here in Jackson has this case to for.....$279.99 with NO rebate!!

Wow - that's a lot. The CompUSA around here had a Black Friday special on the p180 for $100, and I was kicking myself for not waiting for that deal to come around.

Are you sure it's not 179.99? A hundred bucks above MSRP is crazy!

I am very serious, my friend! That was what the price tag read!! I saw this on the day before Thanksgiving, and haven't been in there since. I was going to go back on Black Friday and check the price again, but I had no intentions of getting out into that 'insanity!!' However, I am going back there in the next day or two and see what it's going for.
