I thought you said you knew very little about computers? It looks like you put yourself together a nice little machine!! However, the only thing I'm sceptical about is your choice of a PSU. Would you consider maybe an Antec or an Ennermax instead? Granted, those 2 I mentioned will be alittle more costly, but a PSU is one thing you don't want to get 'cheap' on!! Alittle more money now can save you ALOT of grief later on!! Trust me on that one!! Also, don't forget the thermal compund!!

 

Yeah, I'm back!! About the HDD. I noticed that your MB supports SATA and it might be an idea to upgrade your HDD to an SATA drive. That, of course, is optional, but it's something to think about. I just upgraded to SATA and I noticed a difference in the speed. No, it's not blinding, but it is noticeable!! OOOPS!! As for the thermal compund, I didn't see you had that listed...sorry about that!! It looks like you covered all your bases!
One more thing, and since I know little about this I thought I'd ask about it. Your MB supports PCIe, but yet the vid card you picked is not a PCIe compatible card, is it? Like I said, I know very little about PCIe cards and I just want to know if that card is compatible with the MB?

It wasn't the size of the PSU that concerned me, it was the quality. The new Enermax will do perfectly. Enough power plus it is a reputable brand. As for the MB, well you're ready to go!! However, I have the sneaking suspicion that you know alot more about computers than you let on!! LOL!!! It looks like you're on your way to building a very nice machine and, with the quality of parts you're using, one that will last more than just 'alittle while!' IF you have ANY problems, well we're here!!
