New compaq problems

my mother bought her a new compaq and well you know it comes with alot of stuff on it she dont need. i am going to format it and install XP Pro on it and i was wondering if there is anyway i can get the drivers off it so i dont have to search the internet for them.

You have the option to make a backup restore cd in your programs, go to start, i think its listed like compaq restore or something like that, burn you a restore backup , i dont think you can access these files but windows can search and find them. ed
