Does anyone have any input on this. I looked at it and it looks like a good machine to build.

    Hi dc367,

Personally, I would look at newegg.com for a lot of these items. A lot of times they offer free shipping with these items.

#"s 6 and 7, why not get 2 DVDRW drives instead?

I was really debating about getting Blu Ray but at first look they are running about $200 a piece.

The PSU that comes with that case will leave you considerably underpowered. It's only a 450w and of questionable quality. If you plan to build the machine you've listed, I would SERIOUSLY consider investing in a brand name PSU with more wattage. I'd say between 700 to 800 watt range, more if you plan to eventually get another vid card and go SLI. You're investing some serious money in this machine so don't skimp on the PSU!;) Granted, you'll pay more for a good, brand named PSU, but it'll be worth the investment.

As for what PuppyWunder58 suggested, it sure wouldn't hurt to check out Newegg.com also. Shop around a little to make sure you're getting the best prices. Good Luck!!!!

Yeah the Power Supply was a question i had in researching cases i noticed a lot of people switching out the power supply. I did check out the other site the Video Cards were the same but the Processor was $20 cheaper. So i will certainly shop around more. I really wanted two Video Cards since i game i wanted to be able to work on one monitor while playing the game on the other monitor instead of Alt tabbing to access the other monitor. From another post it shounds like i cant do that so i have to think about the 2nd Video Card.

Hi, I recently built a system and was considering using that case, mainly for the looks.
After reading a few not so favorable reviews regarding both the power supply and flimsy case, I decided to buy a case and psu separately.

I went to Micro Center and the salesman echoed the comments on that case and psu.

I checked it out for myself and the case is pretty flimsy. No offense intended, just my opinion.

No offense taking thats a great help. Out of this whole build the case has been the biggest obstacle

If you're looking for a good solid case, you could consider the Antec 300, or the 900, or even the P180. The latter comes in either silver or charcoal. I've been using the P180 for about 3 years now and with the insulation and 3 120 case fans that come with it, it's a quiet and durable case. Granted, it weighs a ton, but it is simple, elegant case. Here's the links to the Antec 900 and the Antec 1200 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021 and the 1200 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129043 Newegg is having a 'combo deal' with the 900 which includes the case AND PSU. Just some food for thought!! While I'm at it, here's the link to ALL the Antec cases that Newegg carries http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010090007 50001516&name=Antec
