New computer good or bad

    A week ago i bought a emachine for $600... Its specs are

    Amd athlon 2.8ghz
    512 mb ram
    160 gb HD
    dvd/cd combo
    cd r/w ( not a combo with dvd)
    6 usb ports
    2 included network cards (PCI) (used one on dsl one on network)
    came with Geforce MX 4000 ( heard that this was actually GF2 so i changed it with my Geforce FX 5200 PCI)
    DSL speed 1.5 mb down and forgot up..

    i had a problem with this once because i forgot to install spyware blaster and adaware, etc.... but after reinstalling recovery disks it worked fine as ever,,,

    but some say that i got ripped off and such... i dont believe them but would like an opinion or FACT from the experts :) ANd Chalang this is the computer you helped me fix :)

    Did it come with a monitor in the package?

    I think $600 is fair.. but I would personally liked to have seen a DVDRW -/+ drive instead of a CDRW..... but if your happy with what you purchased then thats all that matters in the end, ignore the comments.


    one think whats the model number of the emachine system.... I cannot find an Athlon 2.8ghz on eMachines or a few other sites to compair with some other pc's as to specs and price.
