New computer/new software

I currently built a new computer it is a 2ghz athlon (for money purposes mostly) and i am currently running the following software.

avast antivirus, zone alarm, peer guardian, xp-antispy, regscrupxp, diskeeper8,.

the computer is on a home network, consisting of 4 other computers and a server. I am unsure of what is running on the server. does anyone have any comments or suggestions as to more up to date programs?

FreeRAM XP Pro: A great RAM freeing programing, it's also free.

Ad-aware: A program that searches your computer for spyware.

i know i didnt really state a question. I am just looking for programs to replace these if anyone has any suggestions to better programs or anything that would be good to have when doing alot of surfing on the net.

Also, i am using the program strokeit and it does funny things with mozilla, when i use to the left to go back it closes my browser. i have tried updating mozilla as well as using firebird. i really dont like internet explorer or netscape. if anyone has any suggestions please let me know
