Okay, I just built my second computer, and I have some questions about some problems I have run into.

    First off, what I used:

    CPU: AMD Phenom X3 8450 2100Mhz
    MoBo: XFX GeForce 8200 MCP
HDD: Seagate 320GB Serial ATA HD 7200
    OS: Vista Home Premium 64-bit
PSU: OCZ 500W Stealth Xtream Power Supply
Case: NZXT Lexa Black/Red Steel Mid-Tower Case
    RAM: Corsair 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz
GPU: Palit GeForce 8800 GT Sonic 1GB PCIe w/Dual Link
    Disk Drive: LITE-ON DH-20A4H-08 20X DVDRW w/Lighscribe RETAIL

Okay, now to the problems. At first I was having some trouble with the RAM, that all seems to be fixed, it is now running both sticks dual channel at 800mhz. I then got the system up and running. I installed Vista which went fine. I installed all the motherboard drivers that were on the disk I received, and the drivers from the nVidia website for my video card.

First problem, the device manager in Vista says that it has no drivers for Coprocessor and SM Bus. I checked the XFX, nVidia, and AMD websites to no avail for the drivers to either of those.

Second problem, the HDD I received is fairly loud, and I think it is making squeaking noises every once and a while, and the computer also seems to hang a bit every couple minutes, seeming to be the hard drive, though I don't know for sure. Should I have it replaced? Or possibly have it looked at first?

    Thanks in advance

With the problems in Device Manager have you gone to MS for updates and see if they at least list files for the problems?

Firstly I would defrag the HDD after a recent install and see if that helps a bit if you are still concerned you can run "chkdsk":

    See if this will help.

The HDD is being defraged at the moment, and I think it is doing a lot better than it was before. But as for the drivers Windows says it needs, I still have yet to find anything that fits them. I've installed everything from the motherboard CD, completely updated Vista x64, and tried having Windows search online for drivers, nothing has helped. Any thoughts?
