New computer trialware

I don't know if this is the correct place to post this or not. i just got a new computer and want to make sure I get the crap off I won't need. I ran PC crapdefier. Another post said to do CCleaner and then text post the results and maybe someone would let me know what I can get rid of. Finally, should I follow the suggestions at http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=885308. ("Setting up a new computer")...it's from Nov. '06??

Attached is the text file. Thank you so much...I had so many problems with my old computer and want this one to run properly for a while!!!

I'd uninstall all the HP stuff (except drivers of course), remove anything with the words Norton or Symantec in the name and that should do it. The built-in HP update software has several identified vulnerabilities that could allow for remote code execution or a possible buffer overflow error (meaning that some evil hacker could take over your PC or cause it to run code you're not aware of) so it's best removed completely; you don't need it anyhow. You might want to keep the HP wireless assistant and the HP network assistant if Vista's built-in network tools aren't your cup of tea, but personally I'd remove 'em. They are un-necessary....
