Ok I am going to be getting a new computer after christmas and I wanted to ask a couple questions.

I really want to be able to play new games like Supreme Commander, Crysis, and any other game that has incredible graphics. I have a Dell 2407 so i can play games at1900*1200. I will be getting the new Geforce 8800 GTX. Will the 8800 GTX be able to play all the newest games at that resolution with maxed out settings.

Here are the rest of my system spec's

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817153038 - Thermaltake 750 Watt

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817153038- Asus striker extreme, well once the price goes down.... i might just get the normal version havent decided

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819115004 - Core 2 Duo E6400 Conroe which i will overclock and then buy a quad core CPU when they become cheaper

Ram- This is my weak spot when it comes to computers, I dont really know what kind of RAM i should get. I mean i know DDR2 800 because thats what the motherboard supports. But if i overclock the CPU do i have to overclock the ram also? And I dont really understand RAM timings either.

I have a nice soundcard, a case, optical drives, and i will just buy a decent hard drive.

Thanks for any opitions and suggestions

Hey man you seem to be rich :)
Anyway the PSU is too pricey

The first two links are the same and for PSU, so try to correct the second link!
Finally I do not think overlocking CPU has anything to do with overlocking RAM

Okay here is a link on some of the TOP PSU's there are:

Thermaltake gets very mixed reviews for there PSU's and most will say they are very average at best the only good thing is modular. I have the OCZ GameXtreme 700W and if you look around you will find it tops many technical review sites in Compartive assessments and it is cheaper than the one you choose:

RAM the thing you need to worry about is the DRAM : FSB ratios and you want to have 1:1 or the DRAM higher but if your FSB is higher your memory cannot process the output rate of info from your CPU. RAM timings are for very experienced people so don't play with them unless you want system instability. Here is an excellent link on RAM:

Personally I would look for Crucial Ballistix made by Micron as most serious enthuisiasts recommend them.
