erm just a thought, but are you sure you want to meddle with a cpu if you dont fully understand the cpu sepcs?

However, assuming you do then FSB is Front Side Bus (give it a google), and it tells you what he f numbers mean, these relate to the BIOS version you have installed. Other than that it just has CPU numbers. Simplest thing (according to the specs you show) is to choose a Pentium Dual-Core E2220(2.40GHz,1MB) same FSB as your cpu, depending on your BIOS ver. which is easily sorted. HOWEVER speaking from experience putting in a CPU is rarely this simple, even with the brilliant support from MG, and you should really think carefully before spending a lot.

Looks like that mobo supports an FSB up to 1066 with Bios revision F5.

Based on that, the fastest CPU you can support is likely the C2D Extreme 6800. Problem with that is your are going to dump alot of money into an old tech cpu.

Well, nothing wrong with a Q6600 quad as opposed to another dual core for minimal gain, if you got the $220 USD.

@thebigd-quite the impressive OC on the 6600, it gives me hope that I could reach 3 GHz.
