new definitions for "hijack this"

My computer cannot access the internet. I downloaded Highjack this to CD and installed it on the computer. I cleaned up most of the invasions, but cannot get one deleted permanently. My Dell technician ask me to update Highjack definitions. How do I do that on the CD?

But I do not believe there are any updates for HJT because it does not search by definitions.

If yo have HijackThis version 1.98.2 you have the most recent version. There are no definitions files. It does not scan for spyware. It looks at various registry entries and reports what it finds. It is up to the user to determine what is good and bad.
