Ok, I have a Dell Dimension 4600. I got a new SATA Plextor DVD burner drive for my birthday today. I opened up my computer and took out an old CD burner I had, and replaced it with the new DVD burner. I left an old DVD-R drive in. The parallel cord for the old DVD-R drive was in the way, so I unplugged it. After seating my new DVD burner, I plugged it into the SATA 1 spot on my mobo. Then I plugged the parallel cord back into the old DVD-R drive. Now, when I start my computer, I get multiple errors that say they cannot find either drive.
