New Game

Hey, i play a lot of cs and im starting to get bored of it, what other good games are out there? which ones are good? i want a new game!!! so what do u guys think? what games do you like?

 

Get one of the Battlefield series, also if you have the half life platinum pack try out some of the other games as well. Another good game is Call of Duty, that game is great. I would save yoru money though because this fall there is going to be a ton of hit releases and sequels such as Doom 3 (already out i do believe), half life 2 (TBA), Halo 2 (November 11), and many many more. I would just wait, and around that time you could get them for christmas so you could save some money.

PS-be prepared to get a lot of messages on this thread lol

 

Get Half-life 2. It's All That Matters. It Is The World. It Is Everthing. I Must Have It. It Better Be Released In September. Earlier Would Be Nice.

ya, doom come out wed right? i guess i can wait a couple days and pray i can get my hands on a copy, but still, i wouldn't mind some variety, and i know there are lots comming, and im very excited, i just want a new game now

Nobody is going to be on when Doom 3 comes out. Everyone is going to be too busy playing that game for weeks... maybe months. Expect low traffic-which is good.

 

Get Battlefield Vietnam. Halo 2 won't be out on PC for years. The problem with Doom 3 is that, well, since you are a counter strike player, you probably want a game that is very oriented to online play, and everything I've seen of Doom 3 is that it is going to focus more on single player and do what Pain Killer did and throw in some very basic multiplayer. Right now, Vietnam is the best looking best playing game that is similar to counter strike while adding new elements and already has a large community to play with.

 

As a matter of fact I just checked on the Doom 3 multiplayer status and it is looking like multiplayer games are gonna be running with a whopping 4 people on um. In other words, Doom 3 is not for Counter Strike players or Battlefield people. I did forget to include Join Operations up above, which I must mention because I was playing with it the other day and it is awsome. The matches are so huge with almost 100 people and everything works so well. I really like what they have done with the Blackhawk Down game to make it more internet gamer friendly.

 

Well, there are other Halflife mods. Day of Defeat and Natural Selection are both great.

 

The Battle Field cames are really fun, you would probably like those if you enjoy Counter Strike. I'm a CS player also (even though I haven't played in about a month) and I enjoyed the BF games a lot. I only have BF1942 though, but I played BF Vietname and it's great .. I would suggest to check it out
