new gaming laptop crashing in-game

I just purchased A Lenovo ideapad y510p. The one with 8 gigs of ram, and two gt 750m gpus in sli. It is running on Windows 8

For the first couple days it has been great, but now all of a sudden, it crashes whenever I enter a game.

It must be a graphics issue because It operates perfectly in in-game menus and on the internet, but when I enter a game, bam, pc crashes like the power was cut.

It first started acting up when I was in-game in csgo practicing on some bots, it would be running at 150-200 fps then the sv and var would randomly go red and I would get random fps drops to 30-10. This usually would last for 10 or so seconds, then fps would be back up to 150-200. eventually, the pc just turned off. I thought it might have been an overheating issue as it was quite hot. So i turned it back on and started up Outlast (which unlike csgo, does not have sli support, just in case it might have been an issue with sli.) It lasted about 10 or less seconds in game before the crash. And now here I am, asking you guys what to do.

I'm running a Malware scan right now, but I don't think its a virus.

I don't want to try running a different game for fear of permanently damaging my pc by causing it to crash so much.

Also, I don't think its an outdated driver issue because this pc should have the newest drivers installed and I haven't updated either of those games since this happened.

 

Can you post the error codes from the crashes if any? If not, please post the mini dumps in .zip format as attachments. The experts need this information.
