    Hi Bravo1

What sort of games are you wanting to play?

That spec is pretty good and with a 2.5ghz dual core CPU, 2GB or ram and the Ati 4670, you should be able to play the current crop of games ok, not perfect but ok. I have an old Nvidia 8800gts 760 and plays games really well.

No options for other cards within your price range as those are ok but others are better if your a gamer, the 9600GT Nvidias are good performace cards for games at a similar price to the 4670s.

What is the wattage of the PSU? modern PCs and GFX cards take a fair amount of power to run.

What Windows version you have? XP is DX9, Vista DX10.1 and Win7 DX11

    Hi.

Thanks for your suggestions. I will provide further required specs. soon.

But wouldn't it be a better a choice if I get an Xbox360 console by just adding a few more bucks?

How much is it costing? Can you upgrade memory, processor etc if you need to later? Can you put 4 gig of ram or more? If no to ANY of these, id pass on it personally.

    My specs: 4 gig ram

    4850 1gig Ati card
    E5400 processor (dual core)
    550 watt psu
    meh dell motherboard
    300gig HDD

Can play WoW at full settings, DDO at Very High, just under ultra, most games at 1200X1600(or widescreen equivalent) and most other games i have(fallout 3, far cry 2) at Very high or high settings.

BUT, Can you run it says my processor cant play Assassins creed(original)

So, it will depend on your gaming, and what games you go for really. If Vista is your OS, dont depend on 2gig ram being enough. 4 gig minimum.

The vid card is OK, but imo, 512 is low for Vid ram.

Overall i spend 300 originally on my rig, New vid card 150, new psu 40. So if this is costing you WELL under 500 and you can upgrade the memory at least, and processor if need be, then it sounds like a good deal.

    imho

This PC is going to cost me around Rs.22k(PKR) and I can get an Xbox360 arcade console for Rs.21k(PKR).. So what do you suggest?

If i did the conversion right, it looks to be about 260 usd(beating my 300 for my base system) so if you figure out that its possible to upgrade the processor to a E8400 or better, and can upgrade the memory to 4 gig at least (and if you can spare the extra money) id go with the pc personally.

If your not a big upgrading person(personally i am just getting into mobo's and processors, can do everything else) go with the Xbox.

Is it just an Xbox 360? or a 360 Elite? What kinds of games do you play? What OS is the pc?

Console Vs Pc has a lot of factors, including types of games you play, to go into it other than just price.

OS is Windows XP extreme 2009 SP3.

For action/adventure/racing/fighting genre I prefer consoles and for strategic games, I prefer PC.

I play almost all kinda games.

It's Xbox360 arcade. Can you please tell me the difference between Elite360 and other version apart from storage.. I mean if there's a difference in graphics and game compatibility?

according to microsofts website here, it looks like the differences are these

Elite has bigger hdd, comes with a headset, comes with a network cable, and plays all Xbox games as well as 360 games.

Arcade looks like it has a smaller hdd, no headset, no network cable and only plays 360 games.

And depending on the package, the elite may also have games included when you buy it.
