My fiance bought me a new Gigaware Wrap-Around stereo USB headset with mic for valentines day. I plugged it into my compy and heard sounds, but not the sounds you should hear. All the audio was distorted. It sounded like it was going through a heavy synth... I tried to find a manufacturer's website but found none. It's supposed to run of the windows drivers, and works perfectly on my fiance's vista compy. I'm running xp and cant get it to run for crap... I didn't see a read & run first section to the hardware forums, so let me know if I missed anything I need to submit.
    Thanks,
    Andrew

Go to device manager (type it in run at the start menu), and see if there is any yellow ! marks, and post on here your results.

I tried that, no yellow marks, just a red x where I disabled the built in audio. I'm using a b-gears b-enspirer with the latest drivers they've supplied...

    Hmmmmm

You'll have to wait for someone more qualified in this department to answer my friend. I got no more advice!
