New Google search mode for front page

I for one don't like it. Just my .02 worth. I suppose there's a good (monetary?) reason for it. Still . . .

 

What don't you like about it? It's just Google isn't it??...or did I miss something?

 

It clashes horribly. Make a custom form for it, IMO.

 

I use Google to search for stuff on MG anyways, the built in search engine is a bit poor (sorry Philipp!). But the white form does stick out like a sore thumb.

Yup, that's what it is. As both Goldie and Adryn said, the esthetics are off. Besides, it's biggest crime is . . . it's NEW and I haven't had enough time to sniff it, walk around it stiff-legged and growling with my backhairs up. Not to mention the hiding under the couch and barking at it thing.

 

I agree. I'm very glad to see Google there.

And I don't think it looks that bad, alot of the ads look far worse. Just my .02.

Have a look at that. The results are styled, and I'm pretty sure you can re-colour the logo to your liking (or at least change the background colour).

But anyway, I'm sure MA and CP are working on it
