New Grandbaby pics

    I am curious about the program, "Arcsoft Total Media Suite". This may not be the forum for my question, but had no one to ask. My daughter just had the most beautiful baby boy I have ever seen. I have been playing around with the pics on my computer, and found the :Arcsoft" .Can anyone here explain to me the different versions that they advertise. And if not, could someone please point me in the right direction? At first, I was able to do some "fancy stuff", now I cannot remember what I did to make it so cool looking. Sorry, I am very computer illiterate when it comes to computer things. I am currently taking online college courses, but unfortunately the computer class is still two classes away. Thank you for your time. All help will be greatly appreciated.:-o

    Hi and welcome to Major Geeks. :)

    It sounds like it was software that was bundled when you bought your computer. I am not familiar with Arcsoft for photoediting. When doing a search, I could find the suite, but they describe their TotalMedia as: "A suite of applications that allow you to play videos, edit and author videos and music, create video files for portable devices such as iPod, iPhones or PSP, share to YouTube and back up files using a combination of Blu-ray discs (BDs), DVDs, and CDs."

    If that is what you have, it sounds like it's more of a video editing software.

    Alot of times that bundled software is offered as a free trial and then you have to buy the license.

    If you let us know what you are trying to do to the photos, maybe we can help you recreate what you've done or point you in the direction of some free software that may allow you to it.

    If you can tell us a few things maybe we can find and suggest a different FREE application to do many great things with images, I know I use a few some paid and expensive ones and some free but really good.

    What Windows version are you using?
    What types of "fancy stuff" do you wish to do?


    Plus congrats on the grandson :) I'm an uncle 3x over now... getting or feeling old or less wealthy!!
