New graphics card help

Moved your post to its other thread, and to create new threads at the top left of each forum type as in Software, Hardware etc there is a New Thread button click that to create new, plus guide here on how to do so.


Some info first,

Is your PC a OEM one as in Dell, HP, Sony etc if so what make and model number is it?
If your PC is a home or custom build what is the motherboard make and model?
Also if home/custom build what is the case make and model (if known)?
Do you know the Power Supply (PSU)wattage? (if open side of case it maybe printed on side of the PSU)

Reason for asking is it will tell us what will fit.


The GeForce G100 are PCI-E so that at least opens up a lot of choices, but also what sort of money do you wish to spend?

What do you find wrong with this card?


Installing is fairly straight foward, once you have the correct card and have enough power to run it then you just uninstall the old cards drivers, then shutdown and take out old card carefully (maybe screwed into backplate and also have a small retaining hook on motherboard PCI-E slot), pop in the new one and connect any aux power leads if needed, then boot and install lastest drivers for the model card.
