New Hard Drive Query

I seem to be having some problems with my laptop that Kodo thinks indicates a serious hard drive situation - a soon to happen crash!

Because of this I have backed up my drive with Drive Image.

Suppose it crashes and I install a new hard drive: How do I get Drive Image to restore everything? I would imagine that I first have to install Drive Image on the new HD but won't I need to have something else installed first? Like XP or some other operating system?

This probably has a very simple answer, but then sometimes simplicity eludes some of us.

does drive image offer to make a boot cd so you can reimage the drive ?

 

Yes, it is on the Drive Image CD. See, I told you it was simple!
