There's several good free burning tools available here at MajorGeeks. As mentioned above, CDBurnerXP has been popular for a long time but it does require installation of the .NET Framework (but many other programs require it also) if you don't already have it installed, and you probably do. Also mentioned above is BURRRN. A great free program for converting .mp3, .wma, .ogg and many other formats into standard audio CD format and burning 'em to disc for playback on any standard CD player. It works great and is easy to use. If you need more options, here's some other free burning tools:
    >>> AShampoo Burning Studio 6 FREE http://www.majorgeeks.com/Ashampoo_Burning_Studio_6_FREE_d5937.html (probably as close to Nero as you can get in a free program; also supports burning .bin/.cue formats which very few other free apps can handle; I give it 4.5 stars, I would have given it 5 stars but the color scheme is IMO kinda gnarly)
    >>> BurnAware Free http://www.majorgeeks.com/BurnAware_Free_Edition_d5839.html (for your average home user BurnAware should be fine; easy to use; I give it 4 stars)
    >>> StarBurn http://www.majorgeeks.com/StarBurn_d5936.html (GUI is similar to older versions of Easy CD Creator or NTI; pay attention during install as it will change your internet home page and default search page unless you uncheck the appropriate boxes; I give it 4 stars)
There's a bunch more in the Major Geeks download section called 'Back Up' http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads3.html
I hope this helps! Good luck, and Welcome to Major Geeks :major

Welcome Rick. This is by far the best tech forum/site I have ever come across.
I don't really have any other program to recommend -- just wanted to say welcome.

Off topic and no help, but that link to InfraRecorder is really appreciated. I'm always on the lookout for quality free CD/DVD burning tools, and InfraRecorder fits the bill. They also have a portable version which doesn't require installation; perfect for my USB thumb drive!
Thanks daedz_will for the heads up!
