New install Windows XP SP3 but no helpcenter

Installed Windows XP3, downloaded all updates. Clicked on "Help and Support"
and get " Windows cannot find helpctr.exe". But if I do a search I find helpctr.exe. If I click on it in the search results, it comes up and seems to
function fine. If I click "Run" and type in "help", "helpctr", or "helpctr.exe"
it does not run. I get the message "Windows cannot find "helpctr.exe".
Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. To search for
a file click the Start button, then click search."

Any help greatly appreciated...

This behavior occurs if a registry key is missing or corrupted.

That seems to have done it. I looked at that page before but didn't notice the fine print as to how to add the key if it was not listed. I added the key and the string they list and it worked!! Thank you....
