I do pictures, videos, turbotax, quickbooks, excel, word, powerpoint, internet, some gaming done by kids like SW Battlefront. I need portable and good battery life as I do taxes for small not for profits and sr. citizens for free and support some other charities accounting. No interest in a tablet type any longer as I hear turbotax and quickbooks seem to have issues with surface pro's and macs so best sticking with a windows based machine... so sticking with a laptop.

I am willing to finance it now so I'm not out replacing it in 4 years. I learned old tech should be left behind.

Printer. I prefer 2 ink cartridges only. It needs to be an all in one as I scan often. I do envelopes, pictures and color printing. I often print out 75+ pages at a time. Back and front is a necessity. Quality of photos only needs to be decent as I get photos really wanted professionally done. So a small business printer with photos and envelopes would be nice. I can't stand all the ink cartridges but I think from what I've seen, that's the only option these days. Printer will be a network printer for an apple machine, a windows 7 machine and a surface pro plus whatever I get. I plan to network it via a Cisco router...

So let me know what you think would be worth my investment? If you know of any discounts.

    I love opinions.....

I will not buy HP again unless you can tell me that they improved greatly but I don't think so.. My current laptop and printer from HP did not last and were constant headaches and no support that ever worked.....

    Anyone?
I thought if I asked anywhere that Majorgeeks would be best advice. They should think about selling laptops online....

What do people think of ASUS, vs THINKPAD vs. Lenova?
I'm sticking clear of HP and Dell unless someone gives me solid argument to go back. I understand stick with Intel and not AMD. Any other advice? I'd build one if I was capable. My kids do want me with better than i5 but I really don't want to deal with a hot laptop again.

Thanks. Hope everyone is safe from this storm We have 24" already.
