New Laptop Woes

Howdy! I just bought a new Toshiba laptop for my parents. While we were there my mom was playing a time-limited sample game that came with it. When the time was up the entire screen went black. Nothing... no amount of pressing esc or ctrl+alt+del would bring up anything. So we had to reboot.

She called me today to say that she had watched a youtube video on my blog. When the video ended the entire screen went black again and she had to reboot.

It is a Vista (of course) ... I do not know the model of the Toshiba ... but it's new.

Ideas?

 

Take it back under warranty , don't fiddle with it.

 

I was thinking of that. She just called me and said it happened again. When you reboot it all works well....until. She said it wasn't a black screen but a dark blue one (not the 'blue screen of death'). Maybe the Navy screen of deah? rolleyes
