The latest release of Malwarebytes Anti-malware 3.0.6.1458 includes many fixes.
One error in version 3.0.5 Premium produces a warning message at startup that all shields are not active, even though they are all active.
Some users at the Malwarebytes Forums reverted to the earlier version because of this error, myself included.
I can not verify this because I have not yet installed it but, supposedly, that has been fixed.

I have used the free versions of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Explit for several years and been satisfied with both. Installing v. 3.0.6.1458 of Malwarebytes Anti-malware will uninstall Malwaewbytes Anti-Exploit right?
Something to concider if you decide to go with the free version after the free trial period.

Yes, I think it will have to uninstall Anti-Exploit since it is now included in Anti-Malware 3.
I uninstalled Anti-Malware and Anti-Exploit manually before installing the new Anti-Malware.
Seems there is still an activation error in Anti-Malware 3.0.6.1458. Anti-Exploit is turned Off by default.

Anti-Exploit is still available as a stand alone program. The last stable version is 1.09.1.1291.

All new stand alone versions of Anti-Exploit will be Beta releases. The latest version can be downloaded here:

    It's not a problem at all. That's what I did. I uninstalled Anti-Malware 3, then reinstalled Anti-Malware 2.2.1.1043 and Anti-Exploit 1.09.1.1291.

Interesting I previously had version 2.2.1.1043 installed but that download is no longer in my download files. Only version I find there is v 2.1.6.1022. I am not finding the link on Major Geeks to download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.2.1.1043. I only see the link for Malwarebytes Anti-malware 3.0.6.1458 here on MG and also on the Malwarebytes web site.
Please correct me if I overlooked it.
I guess my real question is Malwarebytes Anti-malware 3.0.6.1458 the only version available now?

Thank you Eldon. :) Good to know if I don't like or have issues with v 3.0.6.1458 I can go back to v 2.2.1.1043. By the way before I posted about this I had found in a different thread here on MG, which is several months old, there was a link for version 2.2.1.1043 but that link now takes me to v 3.0.6.1458 download. So it looked like MG was only offering v 3 now. But I could of over looked something.;)

The old version is no longer offered routinely, either on MG or on Malwarebyte's own website.

Thanks Eldon. I was looking for my current v2 to archive, just like I've now started archiving Windows monthly Security only bundles because when you search for Nov. 2016 you find nothing.

I normally save backups of all software version's.This way just in case there is an issue i can downgrade to an older version.
