new member needs help

    Hi I am a new member and need your help. I have been unable to log onto "secure" sites (my ebay, checkout, etc.) I think part of the problem is that I have been "locked out" as the administrator for Norton. I dont know how to turn it back on. Everything has been shut off (auto protect, and anything else you can imagine). I can not figure out how to change it so I am the administrator again to turn everything back on. I thank you in advance. My apologies if I did not put this in the right forum but I think this has to do with some type of virus.

    Take a look a your IE Security settings and see if SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 are checked.

    From IE click Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, and scoll down til you see the Security heading. Then find those two items and make sure they are checked.

    Is your system a single logon or do you have multiple profiles. What version of Norton are you using?
