Hello, I am new to these forums but was reffered here from a fellow call of duty player. The issue I am having is on my wireless network. I recently replaced my router b/c the old one finally went out after 3 years. My setup is as follows; one pc, one laptop, and an xbox360 are all on my wireless network. The probelm is my bandwidth since I installed the new modem. I have a newer model belkin n+ router. I ran a speen test with the old modem and these were the results...9.7 mb down, 3.3 mb up and a 23 ms ping. Since I have installed the new modem the test shows the following...2.13 mb down, 2.15 mb up and 24 ms ping..so I guess my question is why is my speed so much slower now. I ran test with same scenario both times. Also on call of duty BO it has a bandwidth reader. On the old modem I ran at 10,000kbs, and now it's at 1,865 kbs...any help or suggestions would be great, and sorry for any confusion iin this post, I am very new to this sort of thing

go to the manufacturers website for your router and see if there are any new firmware releases. If so, then install them. Also, I would setup port-forwarding on the router for xbox360 traffic. this will help your gaming speed.
