    Hello,
I'm new to all this so if I make a simple mistake excuse me. All my knowledge comes from Google searches. A few days ago I came home from a fishing trip, I started up my pc (ibuypower revolt) it worked for a bit then the screen just went black. I hard reset a few times nothing changes computer seems to be running just no display. First I checked the monitor, that still worked so then off to Google I went. I believe that it is the motherboard. So I bought a nzxt phantom case because working inside the revolt is hell. I also got a x97 saber tooth mother board. I feel confident I could put all the parts together, the part that worries me is when I hook all this up to the hard drives I have will it work with another mother board driver on there to give me the time to install the new drivers or will I have to wipe the hard drive.
    additional information:
    1x120gb ssd
    1x2000 gb Seagate
    1x kraken x41
    2x 4gb ddr3 rip jaw ram
1x some type of blue ray player
    1x gtx 670 ftw
    1x psu 650
    1x I 7
I also picked up some Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste, and a grounding wrist Strap. This is my first try at this type of thing ever so any help is appreciated.

So sorry for the grammar of my post(would like to blame it on the fact I'm using a phone but it's probably not). Noticed I failed to mention window 7 64bit is on the hard drive.

First, if it were the motherboard, the computer would not appear to be running as yours does.
You have no display with a known working monitor. That indicates a problem with the video chip/card.
Easiest first step, buy a video card, install and see if you now have a display.

Well that's bad news for me since I already got the mother board and case but I have been wanting to get out of the revolt case for some time anyway. I just have to shop around now and fig out what video card I want. Thank you for the help.

Ok I purchased a evga 970 ftw, hope that fixes the original issue. Now the only thing I'm having trouble finding out is how to wipe my 2 hard drives. So far I think I have to find a Windows 7 Iso and put it on a flash drive go into my bios and get it to boot off the flash drive. I'm not sure how to do all that but I'm hoping YouTube does. If anyone know a safe place to download the Iso and how to make it work off a flash drive it would be much appreciated if you can help me out.

Well I'm confused and don't even know why. I bought z97 Mark S saber tooth mother board and I have a I7 3770k I don't understand why the cpu won't fit in the motherboard. They are both sockets lga 1150 and says it can take I7's. can someone tell me where I went wrong??
