Make sure all your cables are plugged in; the one for your video card (if needed), 4-pin mobo cable and 20/24 pin mobo cable. Thats all thats needed to just POST

The number of beeps tells you what the problem is. So it makes a difference if it is three or four beeps. What motherboard are you using? How many sticks of ram? If more than one stick try just one. If that doesn't work try the other one. Also, by bringing it to the members of MG you've already brought it to the professionals! There are some great people here who can usually help with your problems. Taking it to a shop should be a last resort.

Check your video card and RAM modules and make sure they are seated correctly.

Some motherboards require you to have the memory in a certain bank. Check your manual and see if it needs to be in a certain one. Also, you said you bought new ram. Is your old ram compatible with the motherboard? If so, try that and see if it works. Same goes for the video card.

also what kinda ram are you running, some boards like my gigabyte does not like same rams, like kingston, but is fine with PNY, from my experience PNY is one memory that almost all mother boards are fine with.
