new mouse messed up sound

ok i had to buy a new mouse. i installed the drivers from the cd and it installed correctly. here's the problem!!! it has affected my sound. the sound is really low and if i turn the speakers up there is a dronning sound that drowns out whatever im listening to. any ideas guys????

Just a "hunch" here...

It sounds like maybe when you were disconnecting the old mouse - or maybe when you connected the new mouse - by unplugging and/or plugging into the mouse cord's connector into the back of your PC housing; perhaps you bumped into, stepped on or otherwise discombobulated the wires or plugs that are connecting your from the PC to the speakers (or speaker system's subwoofer or something like that).

Re-check the speaker wire plugs to see that they are secured properly.

Sometimes another problem that occurs is that users accidentally "jam" the mouse wire's plug into the wrong connector, which can cause problems.

If re-checking the speaker wires does not work; check the Knowledge Base or support on both the mouse and speaker manufactures’ website to see if this is a common problem and if they offer a fix.
