new parts. Mobo, CPU. PSU. ?

ok i have bought a new Vid card. an Asus. EN8800GTX
and aperently my system is not good enof. to run it :cry

so i have to get some new parts.

now. i have been looking at.

a new PSU. and MOBO (SLI) . and perhaps. ?? duel2core. ?? since im not good at fixing pc things. i dont want to do it again. in about 6 months.
and putting in a new CPU. isent my speciality.

is it core2duo mush better ???

yes i will use the ram. on the new too. and some i took out of it to make place for the corsair. i have 2x 512 mb no name (M) DDR2, but they are PC2-4200

and i belive that my corsair is 6400 so wouldent it slow the corsair down ?

Having just set a similar system up, I would keep with the corsair, don't mix memory.- it will run at the slower speed.

 

I found the old heatsink, or, stock heatsinks run a bit hot.

 

i dont think that the Gigabyte cooler is a stock one.
