the motherboard link goes to the RAM again.

everything looks good to me, that PSU seems to be up to the task of powering that rig which would be my biggest concern with this.

also, what video card(s) are you guys going with? what does he want to do with this computer?

    Just checking...

If i were to build this machine (for gaming), Would the following motherboard and video card(s) be both compatable and the final pieces needed for this machine? And would it be a semi-powerful gaming machine?

And also, would I need to get any more parts, if so, what are they, and what Operating system should i get? Vista ultimate 32/64bit, home, etc?

a sound card if you want, if you've never heard games or music on a PC using something other than onboard sound then boy are you missing out. creative x-fi's go for pretty cheap now, any one of them will be a vast improvement over onboard sound. it takes some load off of your processor as well, usually a 1-2 FPS difference but sometimes more

According to tomshardware and nvidia the 8800gt is just as good if not better than the 8800gts at about half the price so I'd grab that card as well as rivatuner because it does get pretty hot and the fan doesnt ever seem to go above 35% by default.
