New PC Question

A friend of mine is thinking about purchasing a new computer after putting up with his piece of crap PC for 5 years, (Single core processor, 20GB HD Space, 128MB RAM) and he wanted to know if this is a good deal.

He's hoping to get a quick answer for this, he thinks his old computer is contemplating his death for attempting to replace it.

I would try to get a Core 2 Duo and as little RAM from Dell as possible to save cash. Dell overcharges for RAM IMO. You should be able to get some from your favorite online store. If you get 4G RAM, make sure you get a 64bit OS. :cool
