New poster

I'm new to posting though I've fixed problems on my system prior to now by visiting and using the tools recommended by majorgeeks. I want to create a post and submit logs in the malware forum but I'm not seeing the thread icon there in order to do so. I came to this welcome site for this test post and the thread icon is there - is there a requirement prior to post a message there prior to submitting one for assistance in the malware forum? Thanks for helping.

I'd suggest going through the Malware Forum's Read & Run Me First, complete all of the steps you can, start a new thread there, and attach all of the requested logs (instructions are included for attaching files).

The 'new thread' button is near the top left-hand corner, just as it is for this forum.
