    Hi

What Windows version you using? Guessing Vista as that app only works with Vista properly. (edit: noticed you have Vista now from another thread of yours)

Have you tried to re-enable the shortcut arrows with TweakVI?

I do have a registry fix for this but depends on how happy you are in doing this, but if you do them make sure you create a System Restore Point and also backup all your important files as editing registry can if the info you have supplied is not correct to version of Windows, casue Windows not to act right. BUT try re-enabling it via TweakVI first or try this on I have used in the past Vista Shortcut Overlay Manager (may need to right click these applications and choose Run as Admin if your using Vista)

Download and then unzip the reg file, then double click on it and merge with registry.

I've got a similar problem with Windows XP Professional. Suddently, all my shortcuts are missing the little arrow and from appearances you would not be able to distinguish a shortcut link from an actual file icon. How did this happen, and what can I do about it? It really screws me up in WordPerfect, where, if I click on on of the "links" it says it's an unsupported file format. Yet, if I double-click on it from Windows Explorer it will load up WordPerfect and the file. Any suggestions will be more than welcome.
